Unicorns living in a remote valley

In a shocking finding, scientist discovered a herd of unicorns living in a remote, previously unexplored valley, in the Andes Mountains. Even more surprising to the researchers was the fact that the unicorns spoke perfect English.

The small valley in the north of Chile, called ‘El Ingenio del Vino’ (The Wine Factory of Vineyards), is only accessible by helicopter and is home to 2,500 Vino Naias, aka white horses. These beautiful horses are the result of the unusual cross-breeding between two very distinct species of Peruvian Andes horses, the Naias Cavallo and Naias Peruvian.

The Naias, who originate from the Ancash region of the Andes, are known for their affinity to both water and arid, mountainous terrain. According to accounts, the Naias Cavallo developed under the effect of European influences, arriving in Peru as slaves and eventually settling in the Huacachina region, which is now known as the ‘Salt Desert of the North’.

The Naias Cavallo’s wild ancestry is thought to be no less than 12th century Italian knights’ steeds, which were a cross between ancient Spanish knights, steeds of the Swiss Habsburg family, and other equine nationalities, of the 15th to 16th century. This means the pedigree of the horses in the valley of Chile is older than any modern horse breed, except for the Peruvian Andes Horse.
