Providence three days later
The problem I had with this book was that I found so many inconsistencies.
The first I've mentioned above, that I just found beyond belief, and then there was also the time Mike said he was at one of his friend's and then turns up in the emergency room at Providence three days later.
I don't know why I find inconsistencies so easy to spot in books.
I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that it's my job to scrutinize people for a living. That would really suck for my obsession with a certain fantasy world with different rules.
Anyway, what I mean is, I don't care what characters' motives are, I only care that they are consistent, at least with their own agenda.
After all, I care about them as characters and not in spite of them being flawed.
I like people to behave like the characters in the books they love.
Most times I don't mind an imperfection in my favourite characters.
